- You will manage in the most common communicative situations in everyday life and at work in Chinese.
- Be able to communicate orally and in writing in simple situations.
- You know some of the basic economic terminology and understand the essential content of the text by using tools
- Are able to search for the information you need from authentic sources (such as advertisements, announcements, schedules, company web pages.)
- Are able to participate in the discussion in familiar situations in your work and in everyday life.
- You will know more Chinese business culture.
- You will know more basic grammatical structures of Chinese.
- You will recognize about 200 characters.
Content (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020):
More examples of typical communicative situations in everyday life and work, such as asking for directions, talking about your plans, most common bank errands, business trip, talking about yourself in the past tense and customs related to communicative situations. Expressing tense and aspect in Chinese. Getting a way to Chinese business culture.
Assessment Methods and Criteria (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020):
1. Lectures 36 h, active participation (10 %) Mandatory attendance 80 %.
2. Written assignments (20 %)
3. Oral presentation (10 %)
4. Oral exam (10 %)
5. Written lecture exam (50 %)
