Content
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    This class will introduce students to design science. Design here is understood in a broad sense to cover engineering design, industrial design, etc. Many design principles and methods are reviewed, applied and analyzed. Students will learn to make connections between design science and other fields in e.g. engineering and how principles in design science can be used to advance these fields. The class will cover a broad set of design methods such as customer needs analysis, methods in need finding, creativity, functional modeling, prototyping, and design for X.
