LEARNING OUTCOMES
Knowledge and skills provided by the basic course are expanded upon. The students learn about more demanding screen exposure techniques such as the preparation of capillary film, and efforts are made to find links between screenprinting and the student's main subject.

Deepening understanding of the significance of art graphics as part of broader art historical development and exploring its position in the field of contemporary art. The students learn about the definition, concepts and opportunities of different printing methods in artistic expression. The course aims to find links between screenprinting and student's main subject.

sillkipainotekniikkaa käyttäen ja tietenkin myös tknisiä taitoja. Alkuun pyydän
teitä kirjoittamaan ja mahdollisesti myös luonnnostelemaan suunnitelman
teossarjasta, jonka haluatte tehdä kurssilla. On hyvä vaikka vähän
pakottaa itseään, niin prosessi väkisinkin käynnistyy. Eikä haittaa
vaikka suunnitelma myöhemmin matkalla muuttuisikin!On the advanced
course you develop your artistic expression using silkscreen technique
as well as you technical skills. For the start I ask you to wrrite and possible sketch
a plan for a series of artworks you would like to make on the course.
It's good to make some pressure to get the process started! And it's Ok
if the plan would change on the way!
