Content
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    The course gives an overview of chemical safety (MSDS, warning symbols, etc.) and waste management in CHEM labrotories. Also, basic level of first-aid after typical laboratory accidents is discussed.

  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    Periods I-V and summer: you can attend this 100 % digital course anytime. All study material is found from virtual labroatory (link in MyCourses) and after familiarizing with the material, you take the digital exam in MyCourses. You will find out immediately if you passed the exam, and you can re-take the exam as many times as you like.

    The information about who have passed the course will be sent to Study Register after the first week of each study period. If you need this information earlier (to enter the labs), you can show from MyCourses that you have passed the course for the teacher of the lab course. 

    NOTE! This course is only for students and meant for entering courses which include the labs. If you need a lab safety training as a member of staff or due to getting an access to CHEM research labs, please contact the HR (new employee) or persons responsible for the safety training of the staff in CHEM.
