After the course the student
1. Can acquire the basic knowledge of safety in chemical process industry
2. Can identify the hazard of chemicals, chemical processes and apply ISD principles
3. Can develop and understand the safety management and culture
4. Can identify the risk of damages and accidents in chemical process industry and method of prevention
5. Can apply the hazard and safety analysis methods
6. Can identify fires and explosions, and design the preventions
7. Can use the methods and techniques to control the hazards and chemical process
8. Can apply the principles of environmental risk assessment processes and assess sustainability
