LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the course student can implement small programs using Python language and can apply basic programming concepts in solving small programming problems. After the course student understands the basic functionality of a computer device, and how it is controlled using a computer program.

Content

    Functionality of a computer device. Basic programming tools and structures, such as variables, loops, conditional statements, functions and classes. Simple algorithms for common problems.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    Assessment consists of weekly programming tasks, and an individual programming project/exam.

Workload

    Contact teaching 48 h, Independent learning 75 h. The course may have an exam.
