Do some research on the key dramaturgical concepts we will focus on in the course: story, plot, dramatic situation, character, action, turning point. Define the concepts for yourself and seek out examples of or excerpts from works (film, text, video, images, etc.) that exemplify how you understand each concept. Prepare to present your understanding of the concepts and your examples/excerpts. We will deal with one concept per session, in the following order:

    11.9.               story

    18.9.               plot

    25.9.               dramatic situation

    2.10.               character

    9.10.               action

    16.10.             turning point
