LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students learn the characters needed for the vocabulary used on the course Chinese 1; they gain the basic knowledge needed for the systematic self-study of Chinese characters. Approx. 150 of the most common Chinese characters and vocabulary will be included.

Content
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    - Learn approximately 150 characters with pinyin
    - Write the characters with the right stroke order
    - Recognise some basic radicals
    - Study characters historically and structurally
    - Complete the writing exercises for each lesson
    - Watch the teacher's videos
    - Review the characters with the H5P interactive activities

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • Valid 01.08.2020-31.07.2022:

    Self-study, assignments prepared by the teacher and a final examination.
