LEARNING OUTCOMES

Excellent knowledge about the basics of human image-based orientation. Deeper knowledge on one´s image based thinking, as a artist, pedagogue or reseacher. Practical and theoretical means to produce and evaluate image-based materials, methods and dialogue for the artistic, pedagogical and research needs.

    The course will deal with a variety of questions in relationship of image and thinking and their place in art pedagogical tradition, in the everyday life, popular culture and in public debate.What is the role of images in our thinking? How to assess or evaluate images that others have made? How to communicate your visual thinking to others? What kind of methods are relevant for a teacher in arts today in front of the flood of images?
