LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the course the student
- can write systems of linear equations in matrix form
- can solve systems of linear equations in matrix form using Gaussian elimination
- can perform basic matrix operations
- can compute the eigenvalues of a square matrix
- understands the significance of matrix decompositions
