Content

The course aims to provide an essential research toolkit to prospective neuroscientists, with special focus on experimental human neuroimaging, that includes critical reading of published work, key aspects of research ethics, expert lectures on current topics in imaging neuroscience, and students own research ideas-to-experiments exercises.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Active participation in contact teaching and exercise sessions. Reports and presentations. No exam.
Workload

Contact teaching (presentations and discussions) 22-27 h, exercise sessions to support learning 8-10 h, individual studying (writing a review of a published paper, writing learning diaries, planning and presenting an experiment, writing and commenting on a research plan) 100-110 h
