LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students are able to understand scientific research and evaluate the validity and reliability of research results. They are able to plan an empirical study, collect and analyze data, and report the results. Students improve their skills to carry out Master s Thesis.

Content

    The goal is to introduce the participants to scientific research methods, especially to the approaches and processes used in the field of software engineering. In addition, the course provides students practice on formulating research questions and planning empirical studies.

    The number of participants will be limited (30). Registrations will be prioritized in the following order:

    1) the students of CCIS / SSE major;
