  • Distinguish longitudinal shear transfer mechanisms in steel concrete composite beams, slabs and columns.
  • Analyze and design steel and concrete composite beams, columns and floor systems.
  • Explain classification criteria and design principles of steel, steel and concrete composite joints and frames.
  • Analyze and design both steel and steel-concrete composite members in fire.
