LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student will learn the most important higher cognitive functions, their underlying neural mechanisms, and relevant terminology, allowing him/her to study further independently and apply cognitive neuroscience knowledge in both science and engineering projects.

    The course gives an introduction to neuroscience of higher cognitive functions, including attention, memory, plasticity, language, executive functions, emotions, social cognition, and consciousness.
