LEARNING OUTCOMES

Learning outcomes On successful completion of this course, you will be able to: - plan visual continuity with storyboarding
- plan and produce motion graphics and animation tasks using After Effects, Blender and other web technologies  - solve motion related problems with basic computational elements
- implement perspective, composition, thumbnail sketching, lighting effects, figure and background staging and motion
- produce a basic level 2D/3D animatic design and identify the principles of creating a finished animation - summarise the basics of using sound with motion

    Design for Motion course focuses on fundamental aspects of visual thinking in time. Design for motion is important across wide variety of medium to represent and communicate visual ideas in effective ways. This course focuses on core skills and thinking required to produce motion based visual ideas. This course prepares students to generate motion design ideas and implement professional settings using wide variety of tools and technologies.
