CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Students work in small groups in collaboration with a client on a visual identity design project.

    - Project-based learning
    - Briefing and debriefing
    - Tools and methods for managing a design project
    - Methods for conducting background research and testing design with users and audiences
    - Introduction to design thinking and the Double Diamond process
    - Design and development of a visual identity concept 
    - Presenting and communicating to different stakeholders

    We will start the course on site. Students will work in randomly assigned workingpairs/teams with a real design project provided by our external course partner. Briefing takes place 12 January.


Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Assignments, presentation, and activity during the course. The successful completion of this course requires at least 80% attendance. Course feedback is required for completion.
