LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student understands how to design and produce projections in the context of performing arts. The student has an understanding of different ways to produce and display images in scenographic spaces. The student has an understanding of different projection methods and equipment. The student can choose appropriate equipment for various spaces and uses. The student can design projector placements in relationship to various spaces, scenographic elements and performers. The student can produce projection material that has a relationship to scenographic elements, the space and performers. The student can produce a presentation, performance or installation from the projection material the student has made.

    In the course the student explores the use of projections as scenography in the context of performing arts through lectures, research and supervised and independent practical work.
