Upon completing the course, you will in Chinese:

- Be able to talk about more topics in work life
- Read and understand moderately difficult work documents and business emails
- Be able to write longer texts and exchange emails
- Be able to do independent research
- Have learnt and memorised about 150 new characters
- Have collaborated in group work

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    - Read moderately difficult work documents and emails
    - Write a text on a given topic and give a presentation on it
    - Communicate many topics related to daily life and work situations
    - Master about 150 new characters
    - Learn grammar at the A2 level
    - Complete written exercises for each lesson
    - H5P interactive activities included

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    1. Lectures 36 h and self-study 45 h, active participation. Passing the course requires 75% attendance in class.
    2. Group work, oral and written assignments (40%)
    3. Oral exam (20%)
    4. Written exam (40%)
