LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completing the course, you will in Chinese:

- Be able to communicate with people using a variety of vocabulary and key grammatical structures
- Understand everyday texts in standard Mandarin, including longer texts
- Be able to write longer texts and exchange emails
- Be able to use the fundamental grammars and structures
- Have learnt and memorised about 200 new characters - Have collaborated in group work
- Have met the university regulations for foreign language studies
