Learn to understand and analyse how cinematography effects to drama and how it is related to the film s impact. Getting to know the tradition and profession of cinema analytically.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Extract the film's visual narrative in terms of photography and the use of light, into a written form

    In the analysis, look at a) the film as a whole, b) two scenes of your choice from the point of view of the cinematographer and c) extract a scene where there is a di erent visual approach to the other scenes in the film.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Pass failed

    The analysis will be presented to everyone on the day of release or as an attachment to the lecturer / professor via email.

    4 6 cr. Depending the quality and width of the analysis.
