CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Research-based animation film production. During this course the students will approach animation productions with a researcher's mindset from script to screen. They are inspired to expand the boundaries of animation into new forms of visual storytelling. The course focuses on practice-based knowledge that can be applied to different technical processes rather than on a software-specific skill. It advances the core understanding of animation principles while the students investigate different animation traditions and reflect them on their own work.

    Lectures, workshops and masterclasses. There will be series of short creative exercises.
