CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The aim of the course is to help students develop life management skills. Through iterative and incremental process student takes control of one or more personal development tasks, learns how to measure progress and celebrate success. PDPP can focus e.g. on studies or wellbeing.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    The student has created the PDPP and participated in at least two PDPP development workshops/clinics during the autumn. The last version of the PDPP must be turned in via MyCourses.

     

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    6 hours contact teaching: 21 hours individual work. Contact hours can be scheduled and agreed with teacher. The ratio for individual work can be agreed to be higher.

    The workload is distributed into six iterative and incremental steps as follows:

    Step 1 What is my PDPP? (0,5 hours)

    - Ask for ideas on where to start your process

    - Communicate with teachers and fellow students

    - Plan your own PDPP

    Step 2 First draft version '0.3' (4,5 hours)

    - Submit your version here (Step 2)

    - Receive feedback

    Step 3 Planning round (1 hour)

    - Iterate your PDPP again: make changes, ask for feedback, plan your next steps

    Step 4 Second draft version '0.7' (10 hours)

    - Submit your version 0.7

    - Receive feedback

    Step 5 Planning round 2 (1 hour)
