LEARNING OUTCOMES

At course completion, you will:

- be able to manage fairly well in many work-related communication situations. You will be able to, for instance, make a proposal and react to one in a meeting and talk about your employment history.

- manage in the most common communication situations in a French-speaking country.

- have gained knowledge of some special terminology and concepts related to the world of work.

- be able to read articles in French using language tools.

- be able to produce short texts in French.

- have a better understanding of the French-speaking culture and its characteristics in everyday and work-related contexts.

    On this course, you will look at the characteristics of French grammar and improve your formal and informal communication skills.

    1. Lectures 24 h or 36 h, active participation in class (10%). 80% attendance in class is required. Registration must be confirmed by attending the first lecture.

    2. Classroom tests and/or written assignments (20%)

    3. Oral test and/or oral assignments (20%)

    4. Written examination: 50%
