Content

    The course is meant for students interested in Spanish-speaking lands and cultures. During the course you will:
    - become acquainted with the cultures of the Hispanophone world
    - become familiar with the principles of Spanish pronunciation
    - learn common basic vocabulary and phrases relating to work and everyday situations, with topics including making someone s acquaintance, introductions and giving basic information about yourself.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    - Active participation in class (80%)

    - An essay on a culture-related theme

    - Oral presentation on a culture-related theme
