After the course, students will have

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    This course consists of workshops and assignments supporting PhD research processes throughout the academic year. The course is open to all Aalto doctoral students, but aimed at those actively conducting research with human subjects (through interviews, observations, surveys, experiments or other methods) at the time of the workshops.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Participation in workshops (organized the first Thursday of month in September, October, November, December, February, March, April, May, and June at 13.00-16.00) and completion of related assignments.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The course is organized as an ongoing seminar with hands-on workshops on specific topics and related assignments throughout the year. The amount of rewarded study credits depends on the amount of sessions attended and assignments completed, the full 5 credits can be gathered within two years.
