Content

The course consist of practice-led studio work, where students explore their individual projects. The students continue to work in the the advanced workshop level with Woven Fabrics and Jacquards, Advanced Knits and Knitwear, Advanced Workshop Project and/or Advanced 3D-shaping projects. The students are allocated to the studios and teachers according to their project and plan. The project can combine work in two or three different studios. Students who have an approved thesis plan for work on their thesis project. Contents may vary from one studio and implementation to the next depending on the project and possible collaboration project with an external industry stakeholder.

The Advanced Workshop Project course is arranged two times a year. In the spring semester the implementation can be added to a studio-specific Advanced workshop course and enables continuing studio work with a bigger project. In the autumn period the implementation is aimed support 2nd year FaCT students in their practice-led thesis project studio work. Studio-specific quotas are considered in student intake.

First priority is given to Fashion, Clothing and Textile Design major (FaCT) students. Please note required prerequisites.
The autumn semester implementation is intended only for students with an approved thesis plan working on their thesis projects.
