Content

    Independent research work in a research group of the School of Chemical Engineering. The details and execution of the research project need to be agreed directly with the head of the research group. It is recommended to combine the research project with Bachelor Thesis, in which case the results of the research project are reported as the experimental part of the thesis.

    How to complete CHEM-C3000:

    1. Student finds a supervisor for the research project.
    2. Student plans the contents and schedule of the research project with the supervisor.
    3. Student confirms from the responsible teacher of the course that the planned project can be accepted as a CHEM-C3000 research project.
    4. Student carries out the research work and writes a research report.
    5. Supervisor reviews and grades the research project.
    6. Supervisor informs the responsible teacher of the course CHEM-C3000 about the completed research project and records the credits in Sisu.

    A course implementation may be cancelled if the number of students enrolled to the course implementation does not meet the required minimum of five students.
