LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student understands and masters some advanced methods for mutual audiovisual planning and/or can creatively develop suitable methods and processes for groupwork in the context of film post production process. The student learn to implement the methods in context.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course creates a framework where the pondering, discussing and arguing the combined effect of image and sound is possible. The limits of the combination of image and sound material is researched. The methods of collaboration are discussed, developed and tested.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Attending 80% of contact teaching and independent/group-exercises. Lectures, practical editing and sound-assignments, group work, feedback sessions, individual and group-tutoring.

Workload

    Kontaktiopetusta 40h, itsenäistä työskentelyä 41h. Läsnäolo 80% luennoista ja harjoituksista. Luennot, käytännön kuva- ja ääniharjoitukset, ryhmätyöt, yhteiskatselut, henkilö- ja ryhmäkohtainen opastus. Harjoitukset puretaan yhdessä.
