Content

    In the thesis seminar, students get guidance in their research for Bachelor s Thesis. During the seminar, students will conduct research profiling in literature databases of their topic, prepare a 2-page research plan, report the progress of their thesis, present and defend their research results, act twice as an opponent, and participate actively in seminar discussions. Based on the feedback received at the seminar discussions, the students finalize their thesis work.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Research plan and other written assignments, seminar activity, final presentation at the seminar, final version of the thesis. Requirements for passing the course: completing the research plan and other assignments, presenting own thesis draft at the seminar, acting twice as an opponent, attending to 70% of the seminar sessions, and submitting the final thesis. The thesis is supposed to be completed within one semester. Delays can lead to a reduction of the thesis grade. See the course homepage for details.
