LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the course, students should:
- understand the core elements of strategic management
- understand how people management can contribute to value creation in large, complex organizations
- understand the linkages between dynamic, environmental factors and effective people management practices in a global as well as local contexts
- know and be able to apply relevant theories and frameworks within international people management
- understand key ethical issues in people management in a global context
- have the aptitude and skills to design effective, ethical and sustainable people management processes in international organizatons

The key question addressed in this course is how to design and implement people management practices that support the strategy of the organization. The course covers the core elements of strategic management and how people management can contribute to value creation in different kinds of organizations, with a particular focus on people management in multinational organizations operating across different cultural and institutional environments.
