LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student will develop skills in drawing, artistic expression and observation. The emphasis is in achieving technical abilities needed for sketching and drawing the living environment in relation to personal expression.

Content

    Drawing exercises: observing the forms, light, shadow and spatial impression. Sketches made at site e.g. in museums and in nature. Producing completed drawings out of sketches.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Personally guided exercises, discussions and critiques. Assessment Criteria: Development of personal expression, progress in perception-based drawing.
