LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this course, students will:

  1. Have an increased understanding of the possibilities of sound and music as a way to convey and support narration, and, furthermore, getting acquainted with the diversity of how sound and music are used in narration and storytelling in different contexts and media.
  2. Have the ability to create audio content to support visual narration and to be able to argue for one's artistic and design decisions.

    The course is a lecture series given by professionals working with applied sound and music. The topics of the lectures range from interactive audiovisuals to contemporary art and from commercial radio to animation films and more, including latest technologies like VR.
