CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Groups of students design and develop a game of their own. To support the process, weekly tutoring from teachers is provided and some lectures on relevant themes like game production. Also game idea pitching is part of the course. This course is a direct continuation to the course Game Project I.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    The course is evaluated partly based on the games and partly through a self and peer review process. Also to pass, participation in teaching, completed assignments. Minimum 80% attendance.

    10h of contact teaching, 152h of independent study. (In practice, usually also more group work. You get more credits if you do more work.)

    The amount of work can often be over the limit of 6 credits, so more credits will be given to students who work more through the Independent project course code. Remember that this course will take a lot of time outside the weekly Thursday afternoon sessions, as most of the game development happens outside the official schedules - so do leave space to your weekly schedules if you take this course.
