On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Understand the concepts of generativivity and interaction in storytelling.
  2. Critically review and discuss narrative structures.
  3. Produce and communicate an idea of their own as a synopsis.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    During the course various styles and genres or narration as well as interaction will be explored and analyzed both in theory and through practical examples. Students will get familiar with the challenges of creating narratives in interactive and generative environments through exercises in narrative styles and genres.

    The course will start with a few lectures in the subject and then turn into a seminar format where participants present case studies and discuss them.
