LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. conduct curatorial research.
  2. outline conceptual frameworks for curatorial projects.
  3. develop curatorial statements, select artistic content, and public programmes.
  4. experiment with collaborative models of working within curatorial practice.
  5. identify the scope and range of competencies required to turn ideas and research into curatorial projects.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Students will learn how to research and formulate conceptual frameworks for curatorial projects. They will work collaboratively in groups together with course teacher(s) on planning a project from A to Z, writing a curatorial statement, selecting artistic content, public programme development, mediation and documentation.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Participation in teaching, completed assignments.

    Minimum 80% attendance.

    Contact teaching:
