LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the conclusion of the course student will

  • Understand of the multi-faceted relationship between the production designer, the spectator and the various media screens. This is undertaken in the context, where philosophical, research related and artistic approaches will be combined.
  • Recognize different traditions and contexts of screen reliant/based arts and practices as well as different theoretical approaches relating to them.

    The course is executed through certain philosophical thematics. The theoretical texts reflecting the thematics are read during the course. Based on lectures and readings, artistic assignments, research related presentations and discussions will be produced.

    Students become aquinted with different traditions and contexts of screen reliant/based arts and practices as well as different theoretical approaches relating to them.
