       -Stichtenoth, Henning. Algebraic function fields and codes. Vol. 254. Springer Science \& Business Media, 2009 (explains notions using linear algebra and algebra, its approach is purely algebraic).
        -Villa Salvador, Gabriel Daniel. Topics in the Theory of Algebraic Function Fields (involves more number theory approach-useful to see the connections with other branches).
