Please note! Course description is confirmed for two academic years, which means that in general, e.g. Learning outcomes, assessment methods and key content stays unchanged. However, via course syllabus, it is possible to specify or change the course execution in each realization of the course, such as how the contact sessions are organized, assessment methods weighted or materials used.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After this course, students

  1. appreciate the breadth and impact of the mechanical engineering field, both in academia and in industry
  2. identify how their work connects to a variety of economic, environmental, and societal issues
  3. can articulate how their own unique professional profile equips them to contribute productively
  4. value the importance of collaborating effectively and of communicating their ideas clearly
