CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    German cultural knowledge from the viewpoints of technology, business and arts in the Weimar Republic, during national socialism, in the era of two Germanies, during the reunification, and after. The course has different emphases depending on the group.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Regular and active participation in class. Self-study and preparation for contact lessons (30%), oral exam and presentations (35%), written examination (35%)

Workload

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    - 3 cr: contact hours 24 h, other workload of student 57 h

    - 6 cr: in addition to the above, 4 more hours of contact lessons and 77 hours of independent study
