LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this course, students

  • know the thesis requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • will be able to apply knowledge and skills acquired previously to advance their thesis.
  • will be able to develop their argumentation, presentation and feedback skills in their peer environment.
  • will be able to contextualise their thesis work and process within a specific area of their professional field in arts, media and culture, or across other fields.
  • are capable of completing their thesis within the given framework.

    The Art and Media Master’s Thesis Seminar is a 6 cr course that supports students in the development of their MA thesis.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Participation in teaching, completed assignments.

    Minimum 80% attendance. Details for more specific evaluations methods and criteria in MyCourses.

    1. Lectures for all programme students; 2 Major-level independent and group work in smaller groups
