LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student will understand the basics of running a business as well as the difference between working on a freelancer basis compared to being an entrepreneur. The student also understands what kind of working life skills are required in addition to one´s professional skills.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    On the course student will get familiar with the basics of running a business. Working as a freelancer or an entrepreneur will be discussed.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Lectures, literature, assignments, active participation.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    25h classroom, 29h literature and assingments. 


    At least 80% participation in face-to-face teaching is mandatory to complete the course. If, due to absences, the student does not achieve the learning outcomes defined in the course description, the remaining 20% may have to be compensated as determined by the responsible teachers of the course. 


    All absences must be reported to the teachers in charge. The responsible teachers of the course will specify the necessary compensating assignments.
