LEARNING OUTCOMES

The student can put together a business plan for a company in the audiovisual sector. The student will gain knowledge about creative entrepreneurship in small and medium size companies and have tools to understand leadership in this environment. In addition to this, the course will provide the students with insight on succesful management and development of project based companies. Their understanding of the business side of the audiovisual sector will improve and support their efforts to became part of the value chain in the industry as creative producers. 

The student will be able to analyse the business environment both critically and constractively.

    Business plan, business environment analysis, business strategies in the audiovisual industry and neighbouring sectors, financial management models and financial management tools.

    Aktiivinen osallistuminen järjestettyyn opetukseen. Tehtävien suoritus annettujen ohjeiden ja aikataulujen mukaisesti. Vertaisoppimisen tukeminen.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Kontaktiopetusta 32 h, itsenäistä työskentelyä 49 h. Osallistuminen kurssiohjelman mukaisille luennoille ja muihin tapahtumiin sekä annettujen yksilö- ja ryhmätehtävien tekeminen.

    Kurssin läpäiseminen vaatii vähintään 80 % läsnäoloa kontaktiopetuksessa. Mikäli opiskelija ei poissaolojen vuoksi saavuta kurssikuvauksessa määriteltyjä osaamistavoitteita, voi lopun 20 % joutua korvaamaan vastuuopettajien määrittelemällä tavalla.

    Kaikista poissaoloista pitää ilmoittaa vastuuopettajille ja korvaavista tehtävistä sovitaan vastuuopettajien kanssa.
