  •   Defining, analyzing, and reflecting art pedagogical practices and community-based contemporary art
  •   Theorizing art pedagogical practice with advanced research literature on art education and contemporary art
  •   Planning an independent pedagogical project

Content

    In this course, we learn about diverse contemporary artistic and art pedagogical practices with individuals, groups of people and communities in institutional and non-institutional contexts, particularly focusing on the Nordic context. The course prepares students to make ethical, responsible and respectful decisions when working with art pedagogical and art-based approaches in different contexts. During the course, students will plan a pedagogical project and present it to others.
