CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Lectures and the assignments of the course are organized in four thematic modules: Materials, Surfaces, Structures,  Cycles. The modules cover technical, ecological and aesthetic perspectives on wood construction.  

    Students will follow lectures in four thematic modules and after each lecture module complete an individual analysis task. The analysis will consist of both drawing and written components. Students will be expected to produce drawing analysis regardless of their degree program or background.

    Students are assessed on two main components:

    - Quality and logic of the analysis and presentations 

    - Active participation in the discussion in the lectures
