Gives a practice-based overview of the cinematographer s craft and fundamental technical and creative tools and their effect both on the creative work and content of the film.

Deepens skills of mastering cinematographers and filmmakers terms in English.

Content

    Students will read the book and especially the highlighted topics. Pick up the facts, express their own opinions and get ready to discuss over those in open forum together with lecturer of cinematography and other students in feedback session.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Student’s presentation for the teacher and other students.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    3 cr. Lectures. Student's own work, presentations, discussions, oral feedback.
    Student's own work 67 h. Starting Lecture + Feedback sessions 14 h.

    At least 80% participation in face-to-face teaching is mandatory to complete the course. If, due to absences, the student does not achieve the learning outcomes defined in the course description, the remaining 20% may have to be compensated as determined by the responsible teachers of the course.

    All absences must be reported to the teachers in charge. The responsible teachers of the course will specify the necessary compensating assignments.
