LEARNING OUTCOMES

On completing the course, you will be able to communicate a topic related to your field both verbally and in writing in a manner that is appropriate for the situation and genre. You will be able to understand the essential contents of Russian texts written on your field of study and to use some relevant special terminology.

Content

    On the course, student study a theme related to business, technology or arts independently with the help of topical scientific texts. Students compile a concise glossary based on an agreed set of written reference materials, and give oral presentations that are appropriate to the situation and genre.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The course includes contact hours for agreeing on the topics, assignments and schedule.
    Studying the topic and materials independently.
    A written assignment and an oral presentation relating to the student s own field of specialty.

Workload
