This course introduces students to Master’s Thesis work with a focus on sustainability. Upon successful completion of this course, you should:
- know what a good Master’s thesis is;
- have independently prepared a research plan in the area of your chosen topic; and
- be able to conduct independent scientific research under supervision in a timely manner.

The Creative Sustainability Master’s Thesis Seminar provides an overview of the thesis process. It familiarizes students with the criteria for good research questions and a good thesis, and guides students on how to meet the criteria in practice. During the seminar students produce a research plan for their thesis. Thesis supervisors will be allocated in the early phases of the seminar.

The course is available only for students in the Master's Programme in Creative Sustainability at the School of Business who are studying according to the 2022-24 curriculum and are starting to work on their thesis.

The course is build as a self-study module, but has a few contact sessions. These are Fridays 29.9. 13.10, 24.11. at 10-12 for the Autumn seminar and f Fridays 12.1., 16.2. and 15.3. at 10-12 for the Spring seminar.
