CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD
Content

This course further expands the students language proficiency and cultural knowledge. The course includes such topics as brand names, their development, video games, music and musical genre, and the diversity of Hispanic cultures.
Students learn to describe experiences, events, preferences and desires, talk about their plans and give short defences of their own opinions.
On completing the course, students will manage well in most of the communication situations they may encounter when travelling in the Spanish-speaking world.

Kurssin yhtenä tavoitteena on oppia kirjoittamaan kurssin kielitaitotason mukaisia tekstejä ja kirjoitelmia espanjaksi. Kirjoitustehtävissä ei saa käyttää tekoälyä eikä käännösohjelmia tai esimerkiksi espanjankielisten henkilöiden apua. Yksittäisiä sanoja voi tietenkin etsiä em. apuneuvoja käyttäen.
Kirjoitustehtävän arviointi:
Kirjoituksen sisällön ja rakenteiden tulee vastata kurssin kielitaitotasoa. Tämä tarkoittaa, että jos tekstissä on kurssin tasoa edistyneempiä rakenteita, se vaikuttaa kielteisesti tehtävän pisteytykseen, vaikka rakenteet olisivat oikein. Kirjoitelma voidaan myös hylätä kokonaan.
Opiskelija on aina vastuussa siitä, että hänen työnsä on hänen itsensä kirjoittama. Opettajan on usein myös helppo havaita vilppi, eli onko teksti koneen tai toisen henkilön kirjoittama.
