- You will manage fairly well in the most common communicative situations at work.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course goes through oral and written communication situations in the workplace and in everyday life and provides insight into key cultural differences, while revising and building upon the grammatical structures learnt previously. Students learn to talk about their studies and skills, work and job duties. They learn to describe experiences and wishes, as well as to express and justify their opinions.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Passing the course requires regular attendance, active participation and independent work. Group teaching 36 h, depending on the implementation method. Regular and active participation in classwork. 80% attendance in class is required. Registration must be confirmed by attending the first lecture.

    1. Written exercises and/or tests in class (20%)
    2. Live or video-recorded oral presentation (20%)
    3. Written final examination: (60%)
