Content

The course consists of an overview of general work safety and chemical safety in laboratories. The focus of the course is on personal protective equipment, safe work practices and prevention of accidents, fire safety, chemical safety, and laboratory waste management. In addition, the basics of electrical safety, mechanical safety, and physical safety, as well as first aid in typical laboratory accidents, are covered.
